Grace Isn’t Weak
“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people.”
Titus 2:11 (ESV)
“And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals, for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe and language and people and nation, and you have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:9-10 (ESV)
Devotional Reading
We must not assume that we understand the word salvation. Don’t quickly read past this extremely amazing word as if you have it mastered. God’s salvation is mighty and powerful and will deliver you from darkness and plant you in his kingdom of light. Salvation is God purchasing you on the cross and when you receive his awesome gift through repentance you become born again into his family as sons and daughters.
Grace is bringing salvation, this finished work of the cross to the entire globe. Not all receive it, many are blinded by the enemy and his tactics to reduce the value of it. So much warfare surrounds people entering into salvation. Jesus is the way, the truth ,and the life and no one comes to the father except through Christ alone.
Stop and ponder the God that saves, the God that delivers, the God that redeems a people for his own possession and purposes.
Salvation is so deep that it will take us the rest of our time on earth to discover its power and purpose. We are wise to keep the power of grace connected to salvation. Grace brings salvation, trains us in salvation, and empowers us to mature into men who live upright. Let’s not overlook his mighty salvation. Grace isn’t weak and soft as we have been conditioned to think in our wayward culture. Grace brings salvation and enables us to walk as saved people.
